Another day, another groundhog. We’re up to three, in five days. It’s like a second career; I’m considering putting this on my resume. We freed this one in the nicest area yet, by the Vernooy Kill in Wawarsing – he be movin’ on up.

Brian pointed out a nice aspect to our groundhog infestation: setting them free from the have-a-heart traps is forcing us to take drives to new and beautiful places. Tonight, after dropping our little friend off, we wound up at a great restaurant in Ellenville called Aroma Thyme. They had gluten-free pizza – who knew you could find such a thing around here? Thank you, groundhogs.
